Vegan Options at Ruby Tuesday

According to Peta’s vegan fast food and restaurant menu and VegNews, you can order various vegan food items at Ruby Tuesday. The restaurant chain’s menu specifies many appetizers, salads, dressings, and sides vegans can enjoy at their outlets.

Since Ruby Tuesday is known for its salad bar, you can be assured you’ll have something to eat there. Of course, not all items in the salad bar are vegan-friendly. Given below is a list of everything vegan available at Ruby Tuesday.

Vegan Appetizer (House Baked Soft Pretzel)

Every Ruby Tuesday outlet will offer you a delicious house-baked soft pretzel for you to begin your meal. Pretzels can be easily converted into vegan options because they are mostly made of flour and plant-based proteins.

Have a conversation with your server and let them know you’re looking for a vegan option. You will be served with a mouth-watering soft pretzel without the signature cheddar cheese queso.

To make the appetizer vegan, the chef will not glaze the pretzel with eggs and other animal protein sources.

Vegan Soup

You can get the garden vegetable soup at any Ruby Tuesday location. This soup is made of entirely vegan ingredients. However, it is always best to confirm with the server if it is okay to eat for you. If not, you can check if they can make a specialized vegan soup for you. They mostly don’t have a problem doing so.

Vegan Sides

Ruby Tuesday offers a variety of sides that are okay to be consumed by vegans. Call the outlet you’ll be dining at beforehand or talk to the server to check which options are available for you. Given below is a list of some of the unpopular sides available at Ruby Tuesday:

  • Fresh grilled asparagus: This side is available only at limited outlets for limited periods.
  • Fresh grilled zucchini: You can add a side of fresh grilled zucchini to any of your salad combos or consume it with beverages to make a light and healthy meal.
  • Fresh steamed broccoli: Ruby Tuesday offers steamed or blanched broccoli. It is completely free of any animal-based proteins.
  • Fresh green beans: You can order fresh green beans to add to a salad to eat standalone.

The more popular and readily available sides are as follows!

Roasted Spaghetti Squash

If you like pasta, Ruby Tuesday has your back. The restaurant offers this delightful dish right off the menu without any modifications required. The marinara included in the dish is freshly made and super delicious. The spaghetti squash is one of the best you can get while dining out.

The only non-vegan ingredient included in this dish is parmesan cheese. However, it is optional for all diners. Therefore, be sure to order your roasted spaghetti squash without the parmesan cheese.

Baked Potato

The baked potato available at Ruby Tuesday is a wonderful option if you order it with a salad. Baked potato without sour cream and butter and a salad make up for a nutritious, balanced, hearty, and delicious meal.

You can add steamed vegetables and other vegan sides to the mix and get a wholesome vegan meal and Ruby Tuesday. Just remember to tell your server to have your food made without butter.

Fresh Baked Sweet Potato

Ruby Tuesday had mentioned that the burger would be tested in their 450 locations till May 2020. However, there has been no news about the success or discontinuation of this vegan option. Since reputable sources claim the burger’s existence on the menu, it is something to be speculated.
